Njord Subsea envisions a world where offshore energy projects are executed with precision, innovation, and sustainability at their core. By 2026, we aim to directly support the reduction of 1,000,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually through our projects, driving the global transition to clean energy. We are building a new standard in offshore engineering—one where technical excellence meets real-world execution, and where every project delivers lasting impact for businesses, communities, and the planet.
Meet Our Founders.
Njord Subsea isn’t just another firm—it’s a team of proven industry experts led by founders who have been in the trenches and know exactly what it takes to deliver offshore projects successfully.
Njord Subsea was built by Andrew and Benjamin, two industry veterans who saw a gap in the offshore energy sector—too many consultancies full of theory, not enough hands-on execution. With deep expertise in offshore wind, subsea cable projects, and large-scale energy infrastructure, they founded Njord to cut through the noise and deliver real, tangible results where others just deliver reports.
Andrew Newman
Andrew founded Njord Subsea with Benjamin. Andrew is a Chartered Naval Architect and member of RINA and has enjoyed working in challenging projects in the marine sector for over two decades.
With a track record of senior management roles in multiple companies, he enjoys working with a wide range of different interest groups, including developers, governments, academic institutions and finance.
Benjamin Vick
Ben is a founding engineer of the Njord Subsea. Ben excels in operating in complex EPCI environments at multiple levels and has led packages with international stakeholders at megaproject scale (>$1B).
He brings considerable expertise in offshore construction and project management and supports projects at a senior level. Ben has numerous post graduate qualifications as well as a member of IMarEST and Chartered Engineer.
